If you're thinking how to set as 'static, input and dynamic', click on the text and look at the properties.
Under properties, write the name in your var. E.g. var: input name

put your items under the your layers respectively. E.g. button under Layer 2.

The "dynamic" above is actually the var that you named your dymanic. Which means that apparently its what I named for my var la LOL!
